Donghyeon Kwon

I am a Researcher at GenGenAI, where I work on research and development for Generative AI systems while fulfilling my military obligation.

Before joining GenGenAI, I was a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at POSTECH, where I conducted research in the Computer Vision Lab under the supervision of Prof. Suha Kwak. My research focused on data-efficient learning in computer vision and deep learning, with particular interests in multi-modal knowledge distillation, semi-supervised learning, self-supervised learning, and their practical applications.

My broader goal is to develop learning methods that remain effective under limited supervision and data constraints, making AI systems more scalable and applicable to real-world problems. I am interested in bridging rigorous research and practical impact through robust and efficient machine learning systems.

Feb 13, 2026 :tada: I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from POSTECH, where I conducted research in the Computer Vision Lab.
Dec 23, 2025 :trophy: Our paper on cross-modal distillation for 3D object detection won the BK21 Best Paper Award from POSTECH CSE.
Oct 22, 2025 :trophy: I’ve been selected as an Outstanding Reviewer for ICCV 2025.
Jun 26, 2025 📝 Our paper on cross-modal distillation for 3D object detection is accepted to ICCV 2025.
Jan 23, 2025 📝 Our paper on domain-generalizable sementic segmentation is accepted to ICLR 2025.
